Hi. I am an independent strategy director & creative director working for agencies and brands. I have 20 years experience in helping brands truly engage with consumers: 10 years client (P&G & Nike) and 10 years agency.
As a creative director, I developed various (inter)national campaigns in- and outside the sports domain. The "Nederland één 6-Minutenzone campaign for the Dutch Heart Foundation is definitely the one I am most proud of. It wont the Dutch Effie Award Gold Award in 2022.
At Nike, I have had the privilege of working in the global football brand team developing the "Joga Bonito", "Take it to the next level" and "10R - Ronaldinho" campaigns.
I love to combine my strategic brand marketing experience with my creative skills to develop ideas based on real purpose and strong insight. I am good at getting to the heart of the matter and guiding the creative process towards impactful communication. No matter what media, for me the starting principles are always the same.
Besides work, I am a (football crazy) dad living in Amsterdam with my two boys. In my spare time, I coach a talented girls football team in the boys competition at AFC Amsterdam.
