Every day in the Netherlands, dozens of people are struck by cardiac arrest. People who can be saved thanks to the CPR call system. But we are not that far yet. More local defibrillators are needed for the system to work. By raising interest among neighborhoods to buy a defribilator together online, we managed to double the number of defibrillators to 25.000. The Netherlands is now the first country in the world where CPR can be provided within 6 minutes after a heart attack, thereby doubling the survival rate.
