Opkomen voor de Hartstichting

In case of a cardiac arrest, the first minutes are vital. The faster an AED is deployed, the greater the chance that someone survives a cardiac arrest. To stress that more AEDs are needed all players of Feyenoord and PSV came up on the pitch with an AED in their hands: "Wij komen op voor de Hartstichting." Elke dag sterven er 35 mensen aan een hartstilstand. Bij een hartstilstand zijn de eerste minuten van levensbelang. Hoe sneller een AED wordt ingezet, hoe groter de kans dat iemand een hartstilstand overleeft. Dat betekent dat er in heel Nederland veel AED’s in de buurt moeten zijn.
